How does photo-to-cartoon personalisation work?
Upload one clear JPEG or PNG photo you have permission to use. Choose a style and request a cartoon. When automatic conversion is available, the photo is sent to OpenAI only when you choose Generate. Review the character, add optional wording and approve both sides of your mug. Existing cartoons can be uploaded and approved now without using the image service. Automatic photo conversion availability is shown in the editor.
Who can see my uploaded photo?
Your upload and generated character require your signed-in account and are not shared in product links. You can remove an unused character in the editor. Source photos remain available in your private studio until you remove unused photos and portraits. Approved print artwork is retained with saved orders and can be reviewed by the shop owner.
Will the cartoon look exactly like the photo?
The generation is guided to preserve recognisable features, with artistic interpretation. Check the face, clothing and hands before approving. Gallery portraits are fictional examples, not customer photographs. Always review your own generated portrait before approving it.
What can I personalise?
Add a name or title, heading, meaningful year and message. Occasion mugs also have a personal date. Choose a colour palette, one of six fonts and one of twelve backgrounds, then check your preview.
