Follow the bride’s version of a good time
A hen do might mean a busy weekend, a quiet cottage stay or an afternoon with family. Choose the tone to suit her, rather than assuming she wants rude jokes or a drinking theme. Cocktails can be a colourful option; bows, flowers or stars work when drinks are not part of the celebration. ‘Bride’s brew crew’ or ‘Here for the happy chapter’ can give the mugs a shared message without putting anyone on the spot.
Collect photos before making the whole batch
Ask each person for a clear portrait they like and the name they want printed. Use similar crops so the set feels connected, even when faces and colours differ. A bobblehead portrait makes a playful starting point; original photo is useful if someone dislikes cartoons. Check the bride’s mug separately so her chosen title, name and portrait are all right. Do not assume she wants ‘Future Mrs’ or plans to change her surname.
Use four for three to plan the group order
Each white 11oz ceramic mug is £15 including VAT. Every four in the same basket includes one free, so four cost £45 and eight cost £90, with no code. Mix all designs and make each person’s mug individual; they do not need to match. Free UK delivery is in 1–2 working days. Confirm who is attending, check every basket item and order ahead of the hen gathering so you have time to receive and organise the mugs.
